Hearing loss encompasses any loss of hearing for any reason, including congenital, through illness or through noise exposure. Anyone of any age can experience a reduction in their hearing, with almost half of all people aged 50 and over in the UK being affected. It is not something that you have to live with, there are many resources that can help you. As it rarely improves by itself; specialist intervention and support is required.

This introductory assessment will be carried out online, at a time that suits you, and will be a fully comprehensive assessment of your specific needs.

Prior to the session you will be sent a questionnaire, which will help form the basis of the assessment that we will complete together during our online one-to-one session.

Once we have completed the initial assessment I will provide you with an extensive evaluation of your needs, and will guide you towards the best course of action that will help you achieve your goals.

The range of solutions available will include:

  • Counselling, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Mindfulness, EMDR & Sound Therapy, and TRT (Tinnitus Retraining Therapy)
  • Guidance to suitable online resources
  • Referral to medical professionals
  • Recommendations for hearing aids
  • And much more

All solutions recommended will be tailored to your specific needs, and will be designed to fit around your lifestyle.

Please allow at least an hour for this assessment. Price shown is for the introductory assessment only.
